Choosing a Family Cow – A2 Milk

ChoosingACowHave you ever heard of A2 milk?  A2 milk is said to be easier to digest for those who are lactose intolerant.  Regular milk from the supermarket has both A1 and A2.

The Dexter cow has smaller gobules so it is said to be easier to digest.  It also takes longer for cream to seperate from the milk.  Those who are lactose intolerant may want to look into having Dexter cow for milk as an alternative to goats milk.  On the other hand, the Jersey has larger gobules which means that the cream separates from the milk quicker.

Below is an interesting video called Dexter milk vs Jersey milk from Shining our bright light.
