On this site you will see quite a few posts on how you can make money on the homestead. Many homesteaders make money by doing crafts or creating products to sell. This is how you can make soy candles for less than $2 each. Just add your own style on the jars to create your own beautiful candles.
Here is a list of things that you will need.
- Crock pot or a pot on the stove
- Soy or Bees Wax
- Scented Oil (You will need a lot of scented oil to get some smell from the candle)
- 1/2 Pint Jars
- Candle Wicks
Put the wax in the jars. Put the jars in a pot on the stove. You can keep filling the jars since the wax will melt and go down as it is heating. Once the wax is completely melted. Add about 80 drops of essential oil to the jars. Put the candle wicks inside the jars and make sure that they stand straight up in the middle of the jar.
